Tīrandāzī ṭibq-i bakhshnāmah Persian 2022

This novel recounts the experiences of a dreamer named Tirdād Kūhistānī, a symbolic name that is, in many ways, intertwined with his destiny. Born by chance after an accident on one of the snowbound mountain passes of Samīrom, Tirdād is sent to an orphanage following the deaths of his parents in the same tragedy. As a teenager, he becomes homeless and spends years surviving in a small storeroom at a produce market, working for an onion vendor. Eventually, he is employed by the Environmental Protection Department in Gachsārān and begins working in the mountains of Ārāj. Through the eyepiece of his Russian hunting binoculars, he falls in love with a young Zagros mountain girl who exists only in his imagination.
