Rūzhā-yi Sakht-i Mīkāʾīl Persian 2023

During the global COVID-19 pandemic, when people around the world were confined to their homes, Michael contracts the virus. As his condition rapidly worsens, he is taken to the hospital, where he is quickly admitted to a room shared with seven other patients and placed on oxygen support.

Now weakened and disoriented, Michael's mind drifts restlessly between the present and the past. His memories are dominated by a single person: Sara. He fell in love with her during his third year at university, and the two eventually married. Yet after several years, their relationship began to unravel, and their marriage ended in separation.

The years Michael spent with Sara have never faded from his memory. Amid the turmoil of illness, these recollections surge back with increasing intensity, flooding his thoughts moment by moment as he struggles against the disease.
