"One cold winter morning, four hedgehogs underground huddled together to keep from freezing. They wanted to stay warm. Their thorns pricked each other. They separated. When they got cold, they came closer again. When their thorns pricked, they moved away again. For a long time, they went back and forth between sleeping alone in the cold and the pain of the thorns. They continued this dilemma until the distance between them reached a point where they could tolerate both pains. They got cold. They got closer. Their thorns pricked. They suffered. They moved away. They got cold. They got closer. Their thorns pricked. They moved away. In the end, they were neither close enough for their thorns to prick each other nor far enough for them to get cold. Hedgehog distance is the distance of true love." In our world where the relationships between people are becoming increasingly worrisome, the wretched of the earth who cannot establish relationships with others, who form a four-sided trapezoid when they come together... In Hedgehog Distance, words are neither close enough to prick the thorns nor far enough to chill. A novel that is different from the narrative approach we know, incomplete, fragmented and fast like life. A panoramic story from the perspective of two eyes opening up to the world in a train carriage.
