Gulistān-i Saʻdī Persian 2024

The Gulistan of Saadi is one of the masterpieces of Persian prose and among the most important works of Saadi of Shiraz, written in the thirteenth century. Composed as a collection of anecdotes, moral observations, and social reflections, the work is distinguished by its rhythmic prose interwoven with poetry and explores themes such as ethics, education, justice, contentment, love, social conduct, and human experience.

This edition is based on the critical text and introduction by Mohammad Ali Foroughi and is artistically presented with calligraphy by Mohammad Mehdi Mansouri, a member of the Iranian Calligraphers Association. Illumination by Master Reza Zarifan further enhances the visual character of the volume, combining literary significance with the traditional arts of Persian book design.
