The Jami’ al-Tawarikh by Taj al-Din Hassan ibn Shihab, a poet and historian of the 9th century AH, is a summary of several other historical books and contains a brief account of events from the beginning of creation to the author’s time. The present book presents the introduction and the section on the post-Timur period of the Jami’ al-Tawarikh, which is considered its most important part. Since in this section the author has written down his observations, he has provided useful and first-hand information about the first half of the 9th century, especially about the Kerman region, and the aforementioned section is one of the reliable historical sources of that era.
