The present book is a compact narrative of the dynamics of the Dari Persian language and its 1,200-year movement, which begins with the effort to stabilize and organize the Iranian identity and moves towards the spiritual growth and revival of the Dari Persian language. It presents a part of this thousand-year effort in the life history of three Persian hypertexts (Shahnameh, Masnavi, Divan Hafez) as the most stable Iranian cultural events and tries to provide an authentic guide to understand how and why Persian hypertexts developed or not.
