The knowledge of economics is the result of the thought of great people who have continuously worked in this field for years. But every economic thought has been influenced by the social environment, time, politics, philosophy, and the influence of economists and has given the field to the emergence of an opposing theory or opening the way for evolution or a new opinion on a higher and more comprehensive level. The science of economics has been codified and perfected from the integration and combination of these ideas. In this book, the intellectual principles, opinions of the schools, and the course of economic ideas from ancient Greece and Rome to the modern era have been analyzed, in this way that each economic school is introduced according to its historical priority, then the existing economic doctrines and theories according to the works The scholars of that school have been investigated. Fereydoun Tafzali (1319-1396) went to California State University in Los Angeles in 1343 to study economics. After completing his bachelor's degree, he went to the University of Southern California and completed his master's degree in economics there, and finally graduated from the same university with a doctorate in economics. For many years, he was a professor of economics at the Faculty of Economic and Political Sciences of Shahid Beheshti University and left behind important works in the field of economics.
