In this novel, we accompany the children who, after reading a new news about their father in the newspaper, after two years, hoping to find their missing father in each other's hands, go to meet Lord Glenarron and embark on a cruise from Scotland on his yacht. Then, with the other characters in the story, they set foot on several continents and cross plains, deserts, mountains and rivers on horseback or on foot in search of a trace of Captain Grant.
