The book Golestan Eram by Abbas Qoli Agha Bakikhanov Qudsi has a prominent position among the works written about the history of Azerbaijan. This work covers the history of the people of Shirvan and Dagestan from ancient times to the author's lifetime, i.e. the beginning of the 19th century.
