Le colpe dei padri: Italian 2018

Guido Marchisio, from Turin, ٤٦, is a man who has arrived. Manager of a multinational company, supported by the leaders, a companion of a much younger and more beautiful woman: her life is in continuous ascent. Until October ٢٦, ٢٠١١, a date that creates a rift between what Guido was and what will never be again. That morning, in fact, an unforeseen meeting insinuates in him the doubt: possible that there exists somewhere a double, a forgotten twin, a double mysterious and elusive? Day after day, the doubt becomes obsession and the existence of the engineer Marchisio begins, firstly then more and more quickly, to travel the same ruinous slope of his company and his city. Of all the securities built over time, nothing remains: his role as a cold head-cutter, a successful manager, his figure as a fascinating man, everything, because of that suspicion, seems to slip away from him, as if he were accompanying the bleeding that slowly empties Italian industry. Going to the bottom will mean for Guido to face the edge of an abyss and accept the unacceptable.
