It is a book that reveals the hidden world of women; a world filled with suffering, silence, and living amidst the suffocation of traditions. In simple and fluent language, this work narrates a woman who carries not only her own story, but also the story of thousands of other women; women who slowly wear out in the shadow of superstition, in captivity of the dictates of time, and under the heavy burden of patriarchal relations.
