With a biting humor, Jerjis draws us into the life of an unknown photographer who has no goal other than peace in life and a quiet death. Kamal, a photographer who always has his camera with him, wanders through old markets and alleys, recording the history of the people and the city. But one day, he suddenly finds himself involved in an armed group and his chest becomes a battlefield of fears. Events escalate dramatically and a Colt equipped with a silencer brings a logical end to the lives of obedient and silent people. This journey full of suffering and joy begins with the discovery of a small stone in the "Garden of the Jinn" in Mosul and ends at the Bridge of Martyrs in Baghdad, where we remember the face of the Tigris and the memory of drowning. In the meantime, Jerjis's unique style of black comedy, with bitter humor, gives a special color to every calamity that befalls his heroes. He stitches the wounds of memories with the needle of ridicule, and he does so with a systematic artistic aesthetic. Therefore, humor here is not the main goal, but a tool for imagining and feeling concretely what is happening in that strange land.
