When it comes to the foreign policy of leaders who have led great revolutions and left a great impact on the developments of the contemporary world, many questions arise for researchers in this field. For example, what methods can be used to complete such research? How can one connect the theoretical sphere with the objective and practical realities of such leaders' foreign policy? What is the relationship of the new attitude to existing theories of foreign policy and international relations? The answers to the above fundamental questions form the main mission of this research. Undoubtedly, the Islamic Revolution, the Islamic Republic, and its new foreign policy are inextricably linked to the ideals and thoughts of the Imam. The foundations of Imam Khomeini's new attitude rely on the main source of his thoughts, namely religious beliefs, rather than being explained by the concepts and theories in foreign policy. It therefore needs an independent conceptual and theoretical foundation or framework. The present research is an attempt to provide a new angle of entry for the study of Imam's thoughts in the field of foreign policy for researchers in this field.
