Burj-i Bulūr (Dāstān'hā-yi Kūtāh-i Āmrīkā-yi Lātīn): Persian 1403

This book is a collection of fifty short stories from Latin America, each of which has a special atmosphere. The title of the collection, Burj Bilor, is the name of one of the stories, which tells the story of a writer who migrates in search of the promised paradise and ends up disappointed with a mirage. To compile this book, as much as possible, permission has been obtained from the available authors; Sometimes even from their heirs. Themes such as cosmopolitanism, nationalism, surrealism, naturalism, natives, Indians and half-breeds and the urban world and political struggles, guerrilla war, the disappearance of the dirty war and the movement of white headscarf mothers, and dictatorships arising from military coups are among the issues presented in these stories. The great influence of Latin American literature in the world during the two decades of the twentieth century is the flourishing period of the sixties and seventies. But despite the later brilliance, the great writers of that era could not reach their previous heights, although they still speak first in the world.
