An ancient translation of the Quran Quds Translator's Qur'an is one of the oldest translations of the Qur'an in Persian, the only manuscript of which is kept in the Astan Quds Razavi library. Surah Al-Fatihah and two hundred and thirteen verses from the beginning of Surah Al-Baqarah and twenty-one surahs from its end. There are many lexical, structural, and phonetic similarities between the language of this translation, which was written in the old Sistan area, and Middle Persian (Pahlavi). Undoubtedly, we can say that among the known translations of the Qur'an, we do not know any translation of the Qur'an that has used the features of the Pahlavi language to such an extent in the selection of Qur'anic equivalents. In the first part, there are essays about the Persian language in the geographical areas of Greater Iran, typology of translations and translation-commentaries of the Qur'an in Persian, Sistan, and the Persian language there, and other materials, including explanations about the Holy Qur'an and its characteristics and language type. In the second and largest part of the book, the index of Persian and Quranic words of the Holy Quran has been compiled, separating "Persian to Quranic" and "Quranic to Persian".
