Arbaeen al-Alai fi Kalam al-Ali, written by Yusuf bin Aybek [?], one of the scholars of the 8th century in Asia Minor, who sourced it in the name of Ala al-Din Bek, the ruler of Al Qaraman. The author has selected forty hadiths attributed to Hazrat Ali (a.s.) based on Nahj al-Balagha and translated and explained them, and since he was one of the devotees of Rumi, he has cited his poems many times in the description of Arbaeen. Arbaeen al-Ala'i has been corrected based on the only available copy of it (the author's manuscript dated 783 AH), preserved in the Fatih library.

اربعین العلایی فی کلام العلی، تألیف یوسف بن آیبیک [؟] از دانشوران سدۀ هشتم در آسیای صغیر است که آن را به نام علاءالدین بک، حکمران آل قرامان، مصدّر نموده است. مؤلف، چهل حدیث منسوب به حضرت علی(ع) را با تکیه بر نهج البلاغه برگزیده و به ترجمه و شرح آنها پرداخته است و چون از ارادتمندان مولانا بوده، در شرح اربعین بارها به سروده‌های او استناد نموده است. اربعین العلایی براساس تنها نسخۀ دست‌یاب از آن (کتابت مؤلف به تاریخ 783 هجری)، محفوظ در کتابخانه فاتح، تصحیح شده است.
