Asghar Elahi (1323-12 Khordad 1391) was a contemporary Iranian writer. This story writer's novel "Salmergi" won the Golshiri Award. Asghar Elahi was born in 1323 in Mashhad. His young years were turbulent due to his political activity. Despite this, he managed to receive a specialized doctorate in psychiatry from Tehran University. Elahi worked as the editor of the psychological reflection magazine between 1358 and 1360. Then he taught at Iran University of Medical Sciences and Medicine. He was an associate professor at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences and a specialist in psychiatry.

اصغر الهی (۱۳۲۳–۱۲ خرداد ۱۳۹۱) نویسندهٔ معاصر ایرانی بود. رمان «سالمرگی» این داستان‌نویس برنده جایزه گلشیری شد. اصغر الهی در سال ۱۳۲۳ در مشهد زاده شد. سال‌های جوانی او به دلیل فعالیت سیاسی پرتلاطم بود. با وجود این موفق شد مدرک دکترای تخصصی رشته روان‌پزشکی را از دانشگاه تهران دریافت کند. الهی بین سال‌های ۱۳۵۸ تا ۱۳۶۰ به عنوان سردبیر مجله بازتاب روان‌شناسی فعالیت داشت. سپس به تدریس در دانشگاه علوم پزشکی ایران و پزشکی پرداخت. وی دانشیار دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران و متخصص روان‌پزشکی بود.
