Tārīkhnāmih ṭabarī: Persian 1392

Tarikhnameh Tabari or Tarikh Balami is one of the oldest surviving works of Persian prose, written by Abu Ali Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Abdullah Balami, one of the famous Samanid ministers. Mansour bin Noah Samani in 352 AH. He ordered his vizier, Abu Ali Balami, to translate the book Tarikh al-Russool wa al-Muluk or Akhbar al-Umm wa al-Muluk, known as Tabari's Tarikh, from the original Arabic into Dari Persian. Balami also found that book useful and liked it and he tried to translate it. Tabari had reported news and events related to prophets, kings, and caliphs from the beginning of creation to his own time in order of years, and Balami reported the events of 302 AH. until 355 A.H. He also added to it and made some changes in the text and finished the translation.
