Zindigī-yi man : Persian 1401

The Autobiografija was written in 1924. The author's main motive for creating this work was the reluctance of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Serbia to accept Nušić as a member of the Academy. At that time, all the candidates for membership in the Academy were required to write their autobiography, and Nušić satirically imitated this tradition by writing his own autobiography. Branislav Nušić, born on October 20, 1864, in Belgrade and died on January 19, 1938, was a Serbian playwright, satirist, author, novelist, and one of the founders of modern Serbian literature. He also worked as a journalist and civil servant. He was often referred to as the Gogol of Serbia and the Balkans. He graduated from the University of Belgrade. Nušić was present in the war between Serbia and Bulgaria in 1889 and began his career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, before being transferred to the Ministry of Education. After that, he worked as a journalist and writer in Belgrade and also as a dramatist at the National Theater. He was not only a playwright but also an analyst of Serbian society and its mentality in a certain historical period.
