There is a relationship between design and truth. Because our designs are materialized meanings and are our interface with the world, so they should tell the truth of the world with us and our truth with the world. Bad design either speaks of the vision of an incompetent designer or a deceptive and exploitative manufacturing strategy. If good design tells the truth, bad design tells lies; A lie that is usually related to gaining or abusing power by any means possible.
