Tin Tin in the Soviet Union is the first story of Tin Tin, a small 20th-century magazine reporter who goes to the Soviet Union with his loyal dog Milo to prepare a report on this communist country. The small twentieth-century magazine was published from January 10, 1929, to May 8, 1930, and then in September 1930, it was published in the form of a book. It was not reprinted in the Soviet Union until 1973. He could reprint it including his work archive. Years after Herge's death (1983), this exciting story was presented to the fans in 2017, and this time in color.

تن تن در شوروی نخستین ماجرای تن تن خبرنگار مجله ی قرن بیستم کوچک است که همراه با سگ وفادارش میلو به شوروی میرود تا گزارشی از این کشور کمونیستی تهیه کند هرژه که ۲۱ سال بیشتر نداشت، این قصه را به صورت پاورقی و سیاه و سفید در مجله ی قرن بیستم کوچک از ۱۰ ژانویهی ۱۹۲۹ تا ۸ مه ۱۹۳۰ به چاپ رساند و سپس در سپتامبر ۱۹۳۰ آن را در قالب یک کتاب منتشر کرد تن تن در شوروی تا سال ۱۹۷۳ تجدید چاپ نشد تا این که هرژه تصمیم گرفت آن را در کتابی که شامل آرشیو کاری اش میشد دوباره چاپ کند. سالها بعد از فوت هرژه (۱۹۸۳) این ماجرای پُرهیجان در ۲۰۱۷ و این بار به شکل رنگی تقدیم علاقه مندان شد.
