Nehapetian is a rare versatile figure in Persian art: he was active in the fields of watercolor, oil painting, calligraphy (both nasta'liq and kufic scripts), and numismatics relevant to ancient Persia. Most particularly, his watercolors rank among the best in Iran, many of which have won world acclaim.
