It was a warm afternoon. Aqaamu, reminded Jafar Aqa, the driver of the van, for the last time. Habib and Khudadad had sat in the van and were removing the bundle that was their souvenir from Tehran. بعد از ظهر گرمي بود. آقاعموعرق ريزان آخرين سفارش را به جعفر آقا، راننده ي وانت بار كرد. حبيب و خداداد در وانت نشسته بودند و بقچه اي را كه ره آورد سفرشان از تهران بود، جابجا مي كردند. آقاعمو رو به بچه ها كرد و گفت: خسته نباشيد، به همه سلام برسانيد. من هم وقتي خرده كاريها را كردم، مي آيم. بچه ها دستهاشان را به ميله ي وانت گرفته بودند. وانت به راه افتاد و آنها آخرين نگاهها را به شهر انداختند. از حركت وانت، باد گرمي به سر و صورتشان مي خورد. كم كم وانت از شهر خارج شد...
