The story is about two friends, Mehrdad and Yunes. They were classmates in Tehran University in Philosophy course. Mehrdad didn't finish his university and went to U.S.A to marry with his pen friend, Julia, and Yunes had no news from him for many years. Now Mehrdad's mother wanted Yunes to went after him at airport. When Mehrdad came they went to a restaurant and Yunes asked Mehrdad about his wife and he told that she is mad, because she said God has created the world millions years ago and where was she these years and they also had a four years old girl, now his wife has cancer.

داستان درباره دو دوست دانشگاهي، مهرداد و يونس، كه در رشته فلسفه دانشگاه تهران با هم همكلاسي بودند. مهرداد درس خود را نيمه تمام گذاشت، به آمريكا رفت تا با دوست نامه ايش، جوليا، ازدواج كند و در اين مدت او هيچ خبري از مهرداد نداشت تا روزيكه مادر مهرداد از او خواست تا به فرودگاه دنبالش برود . وقتي يكديگر را ديدند به رستوران رفتند و يونس درباره جوليا از او سوال كرد. مهرداد گفت كه او ديوانه است و ميپرسد كه خداوند ميليون ها سال جهان را آفريده است و چرا او تاكنون در اين دنيا نبوده و كجا بوده است، حالا او دچار سرطان شده و دختر چهار ساله اي هم دارند.
