An Iranian novel. "Behzad" is a boy of 20 who has recently come to Iran, is interested in painting and lives with his grandmother "Mrs Najm" in Tehran. He becomes acquainted with "Nastaran", "Farzin", "Davood" and "Asiyeh"and... during a trip to the north, and their friendship continues for the next years. "Asiyeh" who is a fickle girl, falls in love with "Behzad" and incites him to escape. Mean while "Nastaran"who is chaste and kind, feels that loves "Behzad". "Behzad" returns when "Asiyeh" has left him and his grandmother has put a great heritage for him. At last it was "Nastaran" who achieved her cordial wishes through her affection.

رمان ايراني."بهزاد" پسري است ٢٠ ساله كه به تازگي به ايران آمده است، به نقاشي علاقه مند است و با مادربزرگ خود خانم "نجم" در تهران زندگي مي كند. او در سفري به شمال با "نسترن" ،"فرزين" ،"داوود" و"آسيه"و... آشنا مي شود و روابط آنها تا سالها بعد ادامه مي يابد. "آسيه" كه دختري دمدمي مزاج است عاشق "بهزاد" شده و او را تحريك به فرار مي كند. در اين ميان "نسترن" نيز كه دختر پاك و مهرباني است در خود نسبت به "بهزاد" احساس علاقه مي كند. "بهزاد" زماني برمي گردد كه مادر بزرگ فوت نموده و ارث هنگفتي براي وي گذاشته و "آسيه" او را رها كرده است. در نهايت "نسترن" است كه با محبتهاي خود به آرزوي قلبي اش دست مي يابد.
