People and Places , Video Coursebook: English 1993

People and Places is a documentary series about life in changing Britain of today. It looks at ten people in different parts of the country and shows them at work and at leisure. It features authentic, unscripted English speech and gives an insight into how modern Britain is organised and run. The course consists of two videocassettes divided into then 25-minute units; this Video Coursebook with activities and backgroud information for students; and a Teacher's Guide containing helpful notes, answers to exercises and the full transcripts of the video programmes.
