The present book was published for the first time with an introduction by the contemporary poet and researcher of Afghanistan, Mr. Latif Nazimi in 1367 by the Afghan Writers' Association in Kabul. In the present edition of this book, the special words of Afghanistan's Farsi were defined in the footnotes so that the book would be free of difficulty for Iranian readers. Also, many typographical errors were found in the print of the cable, which have been corrected and mentioned in the footnote. In some cases, there are obvious gaps in the text that have been added in the hook.

کتاب حاضر، بار اول با مقدمه‌ای از شاعر و پژوهشگر معاصر افغانستان، آقای لطیف ناظمی در سال ۱۳۶۷ توسط انجمن نویسندگان افغانستان در کابل چاپ شده است. در چاپ حاضر این کتاب، واژگان خاص فارسی افغانستان در پاورقی معنی شد تا کتاب برای مخاطبان ایرانی خالی از دشواری باشد. هم‌چنین خطاهای تایپی بسیاری در چاپ کابل یافت شد که اصلاح و در پاورقی بدان‌ها اشاره شده‌است. در مواردی نیز افتادگی‌های آشکاری در متن وجود دارد که در قلاب افزوده‌ شده است.
