A play is a collection of texts written for or about a play. All kinds of plays, whether for performance or simply to be read, including plays adapted from literary or cinematic works, as well as theoretical texts in the field of drama and criticism of dramatic works, are included in this collection. Nabokov does not deal with rigid frameworks and rules and defends the individual's freedom. Art that has shackles on its hands and feet is no longer art. He believes that the world remains in the theater stage and the theater stage in the world. Everything that destroys the "naturalness" of works and things is disruptive to art.
