"The Book of Fishes Sleep in the Night" is a fictional and extremely attractive work by the Iranian novelist "Sudabeh Ashrafi", who won valuable awards in the eighties. In 1384, Asudabe Eshrafi was able to win the award for the best novel of the year from the Golshiri Foundation. In addition, the book "Fishes Sleep in the Night" won the award for the best novel of Mehrgan Adab in 2012. This novel is written in the form of a fluid flow of the mind, which mesmerizes the reader with its abstract and ethereal atmosphere. We are facing a complex range of narrations in this work, which cancels out any simplistic predictions of the audience. The story "Fishes Sleep in the Night" begins with the encounter of the first character of the novel, Talaiye, with her brother's phone message, this call reminds Talaiye of her past memories, which brings the reader along with her in this reminiscence. Sudaba Eshrafi is a story writer, librarian, and English teacher. He studied journalism and librarianship at Tehran University and later completed his studies in these two fields in America. He started writing stories professionally in 1369 with Simorgh literary magazine in America. Over the same years, his stories were published in magazines such as Duniya-Sakhon, Adina, and Gardoon, and later in Kolk, Bukhara, Chista, Zannan, and Asr Thursday. Ashrafi published his first collection of stories titled Farda Me Binemt in 1378 outside of Iran and in Iran in 1385 (by Verjavand Publishing). This book was one of the nominees for the first story collection of the 7th edition of Hoshang Golshiri Literary Award.
