The story took place in 1960s decade. The narrator is a young villager boy went to Dizful for work with his friend "Abbas". In those years a big dam was build around Dizful and all workers went to city to find work. The narrator in this story tells the pains and problems of the workers and their desires and wishes.

ماجراي داستان در دهه 40 روي مي دهد. راوي داستان، جواني است روستايي كه به همراه دوستش "عباس"، براي كار به شهر دزفول مي رود. در آن سالها سد بزرگي در اطراف دزفول پايه ريزي شده بود و كارگران بسياري، براي كار به شهر هجوم برده بودند. راوي در اين داستان رنج، سختي و مشكلات قشر كارگر را به تصوير مي كشد و از آرزوها و خواسته هاي قلبي آنها سخن مي گويد.
