Anna Akhmatova (born June 23, 1889, Odessa – died March 5, 1966, Leningrad) was a prominent Russian poet and a central figure in 20th-century Russian modernist literature. Her concise, musical, and emotionally resonant poetry captured personal experiences, love, suffering, and the collective fate of the Russian people. Her major works include Evening, Rosary, The Poet and Time, and Requiem. During Stalin’s regime, she faced censorship and political repression, yet her poetry became a symbol of cultural resistance and inner voice of the nation. آنا آخماتوا (زادهٔ 23 ژوین 1889، اودسا – درگذشتهٔ 5 مارس 1966، لنینگراد) شاعر برجستهٔ روس و یکی از چهره‌های اصلی شعر مدرن روسی در قرن بیستم بود. او با زبانی موجز، موسیقایی و عاطفی، تجربه‌های شخصی، عشق، رنج، و سرنوشت جمعی مردم روسیه را در آثارش بازتاب داد. مجموعه‌های غروب، تسبیح، شاعر و زمان و رکوییم از مهم‌ترین آثار او هستند. آخماتوا در دوران حکومت استالین با سانسور و فشار سیاسی مواجه شد، اما شعرهایش به نماد مقاومت فرهنگی و صدای درونی ملت تبدیل شدند. او با سبک خاص خود، که تلفیقی از سادگی، عمق روان‌شناختی و زیبایی‌شناسی کلاسیک بود، جایگاه ویژه‌ای در ادبیات جهانی یافت.
