Anār-chīn
Anarchin is a contemporary Persian novel that tells the story of a young woman named Shadiane. After experiencing a painful event in her past, she is encouraged by those around her to return to her hometown village under the pretext of attending a celebration. However, this return becomes far more than a simple visit—it marks the beginning of a transformative journey.
As Shadiane steps back into the place where many of her memories and unresolved questions are rooted, she is gradually drawn into a process of confrontation, discovery, and emotional healing. The village becomes a symbolic space where past and present intersect, forcing her to face hidden truths and re-examine the events that shaped her life.
Through its reflective tone and emotionally layered narrative, Anarchin explores themes of memory, identity, and personal transformation. The novel follows Shadiane’s path as she moves from confusion toward clarity, and from emotional burden toward the possibility of change and renewal.
