Sustainable rural development and in the framework of Iran's agricultural development, need to formulate a new model to free the small farmers from the spatial trap of poverty in which they have been trapped. This new example dictates that the development of the knowledge base of the village and the diversification of its economy and employment with cooperative and collective exploitation methods, as well as the creation of production chains in rural areas and between villages and cities, should be put on the agenda. In this book, based on the latest domestic and foreign researches, after the pathology and evaluation of the old model of agricultural and rural development in Iran, which led to 56% dependence of food security on foreign countries, severe environmental destruction with overexploitation of natural resources, increasing changes in agricultural use , and immigration has been growing, etc., the principles and strategic direction for institutional and organizational regulation have been presented as a new example of agricultural and rural development. The methodology used in this book will be useful for developing a new model for the development of other sectors of Iran's economy.
