Platonis opera is one of Plato's shortest dialogues; However, despite its small volume and seemingly simple language, structure, and content, it contains complex and interpretable issues that have been the basis of lengthy discussions and scrutiny among Socratists and have resulted in numerous articles and books. The analyzes of this dialogue in the philosophy of ethics, political philosophy, and philosophy of law, make the reader aware of the degree of compatibility or incompatibility between ethics and law, individual right and social responsibility, individual freedom and adherence to government orders, and that in each of these dualities, to Which one should be prioritized, prompts reflection and engages his mind with the question of whether citizens have the duty to always blindly accept laws and judicial rulings, and whether they do not have the right to civil disobedience under any circumstances, even if they are wronged. Along with issues like this, Crito is one of the main sources of research on Socrates' thought and character and, along with the defense and parts of Phaedo, the most important account of his reaction to accusation, condemnation and death. This dialogue, from the ancient Greek original, has been translated into Persian by several critical editions and several English and French translations, and its notes include the description of the text, the interpretations of experts, linguistic points, differences between the editions, differences in translations, and explanations of names.
