The purpose of compiling this book is to look at the principle/right of self-determination from an interdisciplinary perspective. Projecting a problem from different perspectives has many scientific and practical achievements. The main focus of the book is the division of the right to self-determination into two dimensions, internal and external. The concept of the right to self-determination in the internal dimension refers to the democratic form of government with the widest possible participation of the people, and in other words, regularizing the relations between the rulers and the governed based on the principles of democracy and human rights, and in the external dimension, it refers to the right of the people to determine their international status and the political, economic and cultural independence of the nation.
