The narrative of Turks and Mongols in Iranian and Islamic history is often a dual and contradictory narrative. The present book, written by veteran professor Dr. Mohammad Taghi Emami Khoi, is an attempt to present a fair and documented picture of the role of these newcomers in the field of Iranian-Islamic history and civilization. Although in some parts of the book, the presence of the Mongols in the lands of the Far East is mentioned, most of the contents of the book are related to the field of civilization of Iran and Islam. The issue of religious conversion and the factor of trade in cultural and civilizational developments and the role of Turks and Mongols in advancing the military goals of the Islamic Caliphate are the three main approaches in this book.
