The claim of the present book is that literature can play the role of one between the concept of modernity and the oil factor, which dominate contemporary Iranian historiography in an exorbitant way, and reveal the more popular aspects of this historiography, and at the same time emphasize Hassani's aspects. The string of lived experiences at the levels of wisdom will add to its richness. The author's assumption is that the encounter with oil - which took place at the same time as the constitutional revolution and the rise of modern literature in Iran are related to each other, and oil modernity was not only a launching pad for today's Iranian literature but also by raising social and cultural questions, the minds of the country's intellectuals were directed towards It led to new concepts, all of which contributed to the growth of this literature. Despite all this and in spite of this wide impact, compared to the rapid and all-encompassing presence of oil in the field of Iranian politics and economy, its entry into the field of fiction was done slowly and stuttered. Slowness and stuttering, which the author sees as the main reason preventing him from confronting the failure of the oil-based modernity experience. The stuttering of the language can be seen in reflecting on other aspects of this failure not only in economy and politics but also in various cultural and social aspects.
