The present book is a review of the most important tools of industrial development in northern countries and newly industrialized countries, which is gathered under five sections. The titles of the chapters are: "Development Paradigms at the Two Fateful Roads", and "Foreign Direct Investment in Developing Countries". Development", "Export Processing Zones", "Science Parks: A Critical Assessment" and "Information Technology, Production Organization, and Economic Development". The author of the following chapters, while presenting a report on the experiences of the mentioned countries, reminds us of these two points: the successful use of the mentioned tools requires the awareness of the industrial policymakers, which has led to the relative advantages of the countries and the use of these advantages; also, none of these tools In itself, it will neither imply progress nor industrial development. In the introduction of the book, the situation of the industrial sector in Iran is analyzed in a comprehensive manner.
