This book is research about Shiite Islam in Iran today, focusing on the daily life of Shiites. The main focus of the book is on themes such as lived Shiism, ritualization process, physicality, gender roles, legitimation process, emotions, socialization process, and social changes of Shiite life in Iran today. This research shows how a Shiite Iranian in Iran today and at the same time with the significant changes in the country after the Islamic revolution and in tandem with modernization along with family, cultural, social, political, and economic relations, how to overcome the difficulties of his life, Islam He theorized in his daily life and how he lives and experiences the Shia religion with his skin, flesh, and bones. This book shows how religiosity and Shiite rites become a tool for comfort and self-control in the special situations of Shiite life in Iran today.
