This book is about Mihrangiz Manuchihriyan and Iranian Women's movement for voting. She was one of the first women to enter Tehran University in Law (judicial course) in 1945. She was a doctor of jurisprudence and the first woman lawyer and one of the first women to enter the Senate in 1963. She was awarded the Human Rights Peace Prize in 1968 and The Peace Prize of The Center of the World Peace Through Law in 1971. Manuchihriyan has published about 40 books that her important book, Criticism of the constitution of Iran from the viewpoint of women's rights in 1949. She was the honorary life president of International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA). She also was the founder of the Iranian Women Lawyers' Union that was established in 1961. She died in 2000.
