In this story, the life of "Bandar", a Kurdish boy from the Fili tribe, is narrated, which symbolically refers to the displacement and exile of the Kurds in Iraq. Bandar is the child of prison, and this is the biggest concept mentioned in this book. Bandar's mother was executed in prison, and now he is forced to seek answers to his questions in a prison where he does not know what the punishment is. Important questions that mark his identity and the identity of a large group of Iraqi people. In this novel, along with Bandar Fili and Bakhtiar Ali's precise and terrifying descriptions, we will have a terrifying journey to the most terrifying prisons of the Iraqi Baath regime and, in perspective, we will get to know the character of the irrational dictator of Iraq, Saddam Hussein. Bandar Fili is a story of a child, teenager, and young man who repeatedly escapes from intellectual and mental prisons to find the truth, but in the end, an unknown future awaits him.
