This book contains discourses on economic anthropology and topics related to the culture of work and production, as well as some commodities, food, and clothing products, which are organized into four parts. After introducing the basic foundations of work and production with an emphasis on agriculture and its markets (part one), the techniques and art of cooking and food, and the history and process of the formation and evolution of cooking are discussed (part two). Then there are articles on the technique and art of clothing processing. In the third part, and the final part, several old treatises and new research in commodity exchange, agricultural techniques, cooking, clothing, etc. are introduced and criticized.
