The book Orisha's Heritage is a work by Tomi Edi Ami, translated by Saida Kazemian and published by Baj Publications. Orisha's Legacy is a novel told through the voice of a girl named Zili, who was born into a family with magical powers, a descendant of the Majai clan, each of whom was granted by the gods a power greater than that of ordinary people. There were people who gradually raised themselves to the position of ruling over others, but gradually with the cruelty allowed by the people who took power from them, they aroused public hatred against the people until a moment of their weakness caused them to be attacked. Now Zili and other El-Sans like him have lost members of their family and even though they no longer have magical powers, the violence and hatred towards them has not subsided.
