The present book is a collection of articles and discussions that have been prepared over the years and some of them have been published in quarterly and cultural periodicals (such as Negah No and Bukhara). However the essence of my interest in this category started when I got acquainted with the Paris Review quarterly in the late 1980s. The conversations of this quarterly with writers are world-famous, and some of them are in Iran as well, both in magazines and in print. Books have been published.

کتاب حاضر مجموعه ای است از مقاله ها و گفتگوهایی که طی سالیانی فراهم آمده و برخی از آنها در فصلنامه ها و گاهنامه های فرهنگی (مانند نگاه نو و بخارا) چاپ شده اند. اما اصل و اساس علاقه اینجانب به این مقوله از زمانی شروع شد که در اواخر دهه 1980 با فصلنامه پاریس ریویو آشنا شدم.گفتگوهای این فصلنامه با اهل قلم شهرت جهانی دارند و تعدادی از آنها در ایران هم،چه در مجله ها و چه به صورت کتاب چاپ شده اند.
