Az Ātrupātin-i Bāstān ta Āzarbāyjān va Kurdistān: Bakhsh'hā-yī az Tārīkh-i Kuhan-i Īrān: Persiska (Farsi) 1404

"Atropaten", which is the root of the name Azerbaijan, was the name of a region encompassing the regions of Azerbaijan and Kurdistan 2200 years ago during the Median dynasty, which remained an important satrapy of the same name after the establishment of the Achaemenid dynasty. This region, in its continuity until the Sassanid period, seemed like a melting pot of pre-Iranian and then Iranian tribes, languages, and rituals, as well as some neighboring tribes, and the Azeri Iranians and the Kurdish Iranians were considered among its most important inhabitants. In the present book, after years of research into the history of this region and by utilizing the most important scientific sources in different languages, the author shows that the ancestors of the Azerbaijan and Kurdistan regions have lived side by side for centuries, and their so-called "ethnic" composition has become more mixed in each historical period, and despite some changes, their origin and essence have been the same.
