An influential book written by Mohammad Hashem Akbaryani, entitled "Introduction to the Sociology of Literature: Comparative Studies in the Thoughts of Hafez, Molavi, Khayyam, Shamlou and Forough", depicts a web of comparative analyses of the thoughts of great Iranian poets. This work, by identifying and examining the contradictions and similarities in the mentioned ideas, aims to show that there is a deep contradiction in most of the works of poets who spoke about the principles of freedom, humanity, and an ideal society and faced tyranny. and this conflict is often based on the focus of some concepts and values. In this book, with a careful and detailed analysis, the author has investigated the concentrations and deviations in the mentioned ideas. As a result, we conclude that great Iranian poets have paid attention to two important directions since the beginning of the history of poetry: the branch that focuses thoughts and actions on concentration and integration, and the branch that emphasizes the plurality and diversity of ideas. These two approaches have existed parallel and mutually throughout the history of Iranian poetry and have had a profound effect on the development and evolution of Iranian poetry. Finally, this book, which was introduced to the book market by Marwarid Publishing House in 2016, provides a comprehensive and deep analysis of the roots and paths of the thoughts of great Iranian poets. This work can be used as an authentic guide for a better understanding and promotion of literature and a deeper understanding of various contradictions and revisions in that branch of skilled Iranian literature.
