Professor Mike C. Drout is a Professor of English Language and Literature at Wheaton University in Massachusetts. He has written many articles and books about Anglo-Saxon literature and medieval and Renaissance literature, and in this book, he tries to describe the elements of a correct understanding of literature in detail.
