The story collection "The Thunder" contains 20 short stories by the Arabic writer Tamer. "The Thunder", which is the main title of the book, is the 19th short story of Zakaria's work, which tells the story of a teenager's conflict with the clouds and the sun from the omniscient narrator. At the beginning of Raad's story, it is said "I commanded the sun not to shine, but the sun disobeyed my command." I decided to take revenge on the sun when I grew tall." In the continuation of this story, the author describes the argument of a primary school student with his math teacher. In the end, the student, with bitter irony, decides to build an atomic bomb to blow up the sun. It does so and the sunburst shines light on the ruins. In the collection of "Ra'd" stories, the author has used the fluid flow of the mind with novel interpretations and has narrated his story to the reader with simple language, something between folk and eloquent.
