Mekrdich Sargsyan is a famous Armenian writer whose works have been translated into different languages ​​and have been well received everywhere. In the culture and folk literature of different nations, there are characters like Nazar Dalir, who have been addressed in each of these cultures in some way. Perhaps the "Cotton Hero" in Iranian folk literature can be considered the counterpart of Nazar Dalir in Armenia. Nazar Dalir, who was a lazy, sloppy, and cowardly person, reached a place where, as the saying goes, he was not a servant of God. Nazar Dalir undertook actions whose examples can be seen in exploitative countries with ideas of world opening. Nazar Dalir's novel is full of scenes that, while being humorous, bring tears to the reader's eyes. In this novel, the author has wonderfully depicted the characteristics of a totalitarian man.
