The collection you have in front of you is a collection of four parts. Referring to the four parts that were intended to cause bloody and tribal divisions among the Kurds, which did not happen, and despite the imposition of artificial borders, the content within the borders remained one piece. Our initial approach was to search for this common content, in a relatively broad search called “People in this room and people in that room.” Let’s not forget that we Iranian Kurds call Iraqi Kurdistan “E-Vedo,” which means “that room.” We aimed to showcase the common cultural aspects of both rooms in our Persian-language videos.

مجموعـه ای کـه در پیـش رو داریـد، یـک مجموعـه ی چهـار پـاره اسـت. بـا اشـاره بـه آن چهـار پارگـی ای کـه قـرار بـود موجـب انفـکاک خونـی و تبـاری در میــان کردهــا شــود کــه نشــد و علی رغــم تحمیــل مرزهــای مصنوعــی، محتــوای درون مرزهـا یـک پارچـه مانـد. رویکـرد اولیـه ی مـا جسـتجوی همیـن محتـوای مــشترک بــود، در جســتاری نســبتاً وســیع بــا نــام »آدم هــای ایــن یکــی اتــاق و آدم هـای آن یکـی اتـاق« فرامـوش نکنیـم کـه مـا کردهـای ایرانـی، کردسـتان عـراق را »یه ودیــو« می نامیــم و ایــن بــه معنــی »آن یکــی اتــاق« اســت. مــا بــر سر آن بودیـم وجـوه مـشترک فرهنـگ هـر دو اتـاق را در برگـردان فارسـی خـود بـه معـرض تماشـا بگذاریـم
